Food Shelf Programs
Neighborhood Food Shelf
The Food Shelf is open to residents in need of supplemental food. As of March 2020, neighbors can visit the food shelf two times per month.
There is a simple intake form for first time visitors. No I.D. is required; we simply need your name, current address, and how many people are living in your household. We are a “no boundaries” food shelf, meaning we are able to serve all people from any city.
If you do not live in Minneapolis and need access to a food shelf in your area, please visit hungersolutions.org for a map of food shelf locations.
Home Delivery
CES piloted an innovative approach to providing a selection of groceries to homebound clients. These free groceries are delivered from the CES Food Shelf to homebound clients in the Phillips neighborhood and areas of South Minneapolis.
